Know of a deserving family in need and want to nominate them for Jingle Jet? Here’s a checklist to help you be prepared to submit their nomination and sponsor them through the process.
Prepare for the Questions
Here is a list of the questions we ask you to answer when nominating a family:
- Your Name
- Your Email
- Your Phone
- Your Address
- Your Relation to the Family
- How Long You’ve Known the Family
- Their Family Name
- Their City of Residence
- The Number of Adults & Children in their Family
- The Age of the Oldest & Youngest Child in their Family
- Their Story
- Why You Think they should be Selected for Jingle Jet
Talk with Mutual Friends
We’ll need your help or the help of other friends of the nominated family to make the magic happen. So if you have mutual friends with the family you’re nominating, let them know about Jingle Jet. Talk to them about why you want the family nominated and ultimately selected.
Keep Your Schedule Flexible
Families will not be selected until Sunday, November 24th and On-Air Announcements made during the week of December 2nd. We may call or email you with additional questions regarding the family you’re nominating. Being available to answer the questions quickly will help us do more for the family.
Also, we will need to shop for the special items the family needs. Your help shopping and wrapping their gifts is crucial to making Jingle Jet happen. We rely completely on volunteers.

Submit Your Nomination
Nominations will be accepted through Friday, November 22nd at 5:59pm ET. You’ll help us if you submit your nomination as early as possible. Once the nomination period is closed we do not allow any other submissions made. We have a very tight schedule to keep and we must stick to it.
